When students turn in homework, they will be issued a homework ticket that will be entered into the weekly drink drawing.  At the end of the week, I will draw three tickets, and those students will get their choice of drink from the supply in the room.

Students will write homework down every day in their homework trackers that they bring home.  Unless otherwise noted, all assignments are due back the following day.

An assignment that is late will be deducted 10 points after one day, and will lose 20 points after the second.  If an assignment is not turned in by the third, a zero will be entered in the grade book.

When a student is missing an assignment, they will fill out a "Notification of Missing Work" sheet that will be sent home for a signature.  Parents can expect to be contacted if a pattern of late or incomplete work emerges to discuss strategies to improve this.

Following an excused absence, students are permitted two days for each day missed to turn in homework assignments.

Band and orchestra students are responsible for work they miss when they are out of the room.
